Lost Distilleries

Over the last 100 years around half of Scotland's whisky distilleries have been closed or destroyed. There are many reason for this, including economic downturns, war, prohibition, globalisation - even just plain bad luck.

In this special section you will find whiskies from some of these gone but not forgotten distilleries.

These whiskies are considered by many as legendary - not just for their flavour, but for the fact they are now incredibly rare and hard to find.
